and sunny. It is not really a winter just an extended Spring. A welcome
relief from the hot, dry summer. Rainfall is highest between November
and February, but there are many days of blue skies and temperatures
which can reach mid to high 20´c. The evenings and mornings
can be chilly. It´s a good time to view the migratory birds in the
salt pans. |

a long, dry summer. May to September is very hot and dry. Sprinkler systems
ensure lots of flowers and greenery. Areas of shade especially on the long
sandy beaches and lots of water to drink will be needed. It is Fiesta season
in the region, especially in June. Meals sitting out in the evening can
be very pleasant, lots of bars and restaurants in the cobbled streets. Enjoy
a walk by the river or a stroll across the Roman bridge. |
